Food-of-the-Month • Our September goal is 30 bags of brown and white rice. This will supply both the Diabetic Food Pantry and the Blessing Box. Bags, boxes, or pouches of rice are much appreciated.

Diabetic Food Pantry • Saturday, September 21, will be the 3rd Anniversary of the Diabetic Food Pantry. We will celebrate with a free diabetic-friendly lunch from noon to 1 pm for clients, volunteers, and supporters. 

Community Yard Sale • Saturday, September 28, 10 am–2 pm • Spirit of Grace invites you to a fall Community Yard Sale. Come and find new treasures to love! Food will be provided by the Taco Hub Food Truck, and the fabulous bakers in our community will be selling baked goods and beverages.

Have things to sell? You can reserve a spot for $15 per table (tables provided). To sign up, please call the church office at (248) 338-3505 or email us at office@spiritofgrace.church. Payment and registration are due at the church office no later than September 26.

You may also donate gently used priced items for the church sale table to help raise funds for our community outreach. Drop off from September 22 until Friday, September 27 during office hours. (Please, no clothing donations.) Bakers and other volunteers, please check out this SignUp Genius link.

The Alliance Thrive Over 55 program is a free 3-week program that provides tools for navigating issues often faced by older adults. The program promotes creating a balanced lifestyle by addressing topics such as changes in the body, managing prescriptions, and coping with stress. Participants learn to recognize signs of depression, anxiety, isolation, and loneliness, and gain insights into behaviors linked to substance misuse. The program also hosts sessions on combating ageism and promoting diversity, empowering seniors to challenge stereotypes and foster inclusive communities. Lessons include a craft activity.

Held at Spirit of Grace on the following Wednesdays from 10 am to noon: October 9, November 6, and December 11.
